About the Global Impact Scholarship
The Global Impact Scholarship at Loughborough University is a postgraduate funding opportunity for international students who want to pursue a full-time taught master’s degree in the United Kingdom. How to Apply for the Global Impact Scholarship 2026
Just like the Development Trust Africa Scholarship, you can only apply for the Gloabl Impact scholarship after receiving an offer to study.
The process is as follows:
- Apply for a full-time taught master’s programme at Loughborough University.
- Receive a conditional or unconditional offer of admission.
- Complete the Global Impact Scholarship application form via the university’s funding portal.
- Submit all required supporting documents before the scholarship deadline.
Application Deadline for International Scholarship
Applicants must submit their application for admission by 15 April 2026. The deadline to apply for the Global Impact Scholarship is 6 May 2026. Scholarship decisions will be announced by 1 June 2026, and successful applicants are required to pay their deposit within 14 days of receiving a scholarship offer.
Note: If you've already applied for the Development Trust Africa Scholarship, then you don't have to reapply again for the Global Impact Scholarship. A single application will be used across available international scholarships at Loughborough University.
Requirements & Eligibility
Global Impact Scholarship (UK) Requirements
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for an eligible postgraduate taught programme at Loughborough University.
- Be an international student currently domiciled in an eligible country.
- Demonstrate exceptional academic achievement (normally a first-class honours degree or equivalent).
- Show motivation, leadership potential, and a commitment to positive impact.
- Understand the costs of living and studying in the UK and provide evidence of funds for non-tuition costs.
