 Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants should meet the following requirements:

* Grade 12 (Matric) or an equivalent qualification.

* Previous working experience or practical exposure to mechanics will be an added advantage.

* Experience as a Tyre Attendant is preferred but not compulsory.

* Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

* Must be willing to work in a workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting workshop operations by ensuring bus tyres are correctly fitted, maintained, and safe for daily operations. Duties include:

* Changing and fitting tyres on company buses.

* Inspecting tyre tread depth and ensuring it meets the required standards.

* Fitting rims into tyres safely and correctly.

* Inflating tyres to the correct pressure according to company specifications.

* Assisting in maintaining tyre safety and performance.

* Following workshop procedures while carrying out daily duties.

* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

* Supporting the technical team whenever required.

 Working Conditions

* Normal PUTCO working conditions will apply.

* Successful candidates may be required to work overtime or after normal working hours when operational needs demand.

* Compliance with all workplace safety regulations is essential.

 Knowledge Requirements
